Rotens celebrate 65th anniversary

Dempsey and Linda Roten of Capron will be celebrating 65 years of marriage.
Dempsey and Linda were married on November 25, 1958, in Enid, Oklahoma. Their married years have taken them from Enid to Kansas, Texas, and finally Capron, where they have resided for 48 years.
During their first 17 years of marriage, Dempsey worked in the electronic/computer repair industry while Linda worked in the secretarial and inventory control industry before becoming a stay-at-home housewife. In 1975, they moved their family to Capron, where they established and operated Town and Country Building Systems, growing and evolving the business into Town and Country Properties.
Dempsey and Linda raised three children: Lonnie (residing in Washington, Oklahoma, with his wife, Anita); Daren (residing in Ozark, Missouri, with his wife, Cathey) and Jackie Price (residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with her husband, Larry). They have been blessed with six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
