Firing back

How many times have you regretted not having the perfect comeback? The Wall Street Journal says, “The best comeback puts the other person on notice and allows us to stand up for ourselves or someone else.”

It is usually a good idea to say nothing, but it is hard to resist. When a statement is hurtful or offending, it is best to not fire back.
