Kretchen Olmeda with the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (left) presents City of Alva Assistant Public Works Director Drake Lewis (middle) and Mayor Kelly Parker with a check for $4,930,000 from the OWRB Financial Assistance Program. These funds will be used to replace the 500,000-gallon water storage tank at the well field, upgrade the water telemetry system, and replace approximately 15,000 to 20,000 feet of water lines in Alva.
