Monday, December 4, 2023

During this day were three traffic stops.

10:19 a.m. – Report of a terrier running south down Grand.

8:19 p.m. – Medic needed on Hughes Road for a female with post-op bleeding. No transport needed.

Tuesday, December 5, 2023

During this day were three traffic stops.

1:16 a.m. – Report of an unattended death.

6:55 p.m. – Officer was requested in the 600 block of 4th Street for vandalism to her car. Officer advised photos were taken.

Wednesday, December 6, 2023

During this day was one traffic stop.

12:32 p.m. – Report of a reckless driver in a white GMC pickup headed south on OK-8. Advised they were all over the road and in the ditch.

1:18 p.m. – Medic at Great Salt Plains Health Center for a male having chest pains. Medic took the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

3:28 p.m. – Reporting party requested an officer for her 19-year-old grandson, who was mad because she turned the internet off. Dispatch could hear the male yelling in the background. Caller advised the male lives with her, and he won't get a job, so she shut the internet off. A second 911 call came in from the male, stating his grandmother is acting crazy. Deputy en route. Deputy advised all was okay.

6:56 p.m. – Report of a reckless driver by Cozy Curve. Deputy made contact. Driver advised they were just tired and will be resting before proceeding.

Thursday, December 7, 2023

During this day were seven traffic stops.

1:19 a.m. – Reporting party advised their property’s gate was open. Advised they had had past issues with possible tampering of the gate by others and dogs getting out.

1:34 p.m. – Woods County requested task for a grass fire on County Road 420 and Jackson Road.

5:10 p.m. – Reporting party advised that a pickup pulling a trailer was disabled near Carmen and it wasn’t completely off the road, causing drivers to go into the other lane with no visibility of oncoming traffic. Deputy en route. Deputy unable to locate vehicle.

Friday, December 8, 2023

During this day were two traffic stops.

1:02 p.m. – Report of harassment.

4:01 p.m. – Medic needed in the 400 block of 3rd Street for a male who couldn’t breathe. Medic took the male to Share Medical Center in Alva.

8:32 p.m. – Reporting party advised they heard what they believe was a gun shot in the vicinity of Main and 2nd Street. Deputy advised he spoke to three to four individuals within the last 45 minutes, and they did not hear anything.

Saturday, December 9, 2023

During this day were two traffic stops.

6:44 a.m. – Reporting party advised of Amazon packages all over the road, south of Hughes Road on OK-8. Deputy en route.

8:17 p.m. – Reporting party advised they were outside and heard a few times what sounded like gun shots to the east.

Sunday, December 10, 2023

During this day was one traffic stop.

7:10 a.m. – Report of a reckless black truck headed west from County Road 620 and Carter Road. Advised truck was going at a high rate of speed. Advised deputy.

10:58 a.m. – Caller advised a white dog chases cars in her neighborhood and growls at her. Advised the dog won’t let her out of her car. Advised it went to its porch; she’s safe. Officer spoke to the owners, and they will take care of the dog.

1:19 p.m. – Reporting party advised her neighbor is calling people’s families and lying to them. Would like the sheriff to call her. Sheriff advised deputy to go speak to the reporting party. Deputy en route.

5:20 p.m. – Report of two-vehicle accident at United.

8:22 p.m. – Reporting party heard screaming “ow, it hurts” and “help me” from the neighbor’s house in the 700 block of Oklahoma. Caller advised they believe the female had left now. Officer en route. Officer got no answer at the resident and now searching for the female.
