Woods County OHCE, along with the OSU Extension Office and Woods County 4-H, concluded their last Sewing Club meeting for 2023 on Dec. 19. The following 4-H members participating in one or more of the six meetings throughout the year include: Klarc Gilchrist, Zane Ream, Kanon Gilchrist, Lyla Schmidt, Lawson Ream, Asa Thomas, Sequin Graves, Kelsey Schmidt, Ellie Rose, McKenzi Storer, Tayleigh Williams and Remington York. Cloverbuds, Carter Jo Ream and Deaken Gilchrist, also participated. Meeting topics included learning to cut fabric, using a sewing machine and sewing by hand. Some items completed were entered in the Woods County Fair.
OSU Extension Educator Susan Holliday and OHCE members Caitlin Bouziden (Better Homes), Janet Cunningham (Grow and Share), Lisa Higgins and Paula McMurphy (Lone Star), were sewing helpers.
