Alva Public Library Director Sandra Ott treated library board members and staff to a catered holiday meal Tuesday. Teresa Sutter of Alva, new state library board member, was a special guest. Sutter is the only rural appointee to the board. She said she wants to make the state board aware of the needs of libraries in smaller communities which are different from those in metro areas.
