Alva Church of God is located at 517 9th St. in Alva, with Pastor Sheryl white. Christmas Eve schedule: No Sunday school; morning worship at 10:30 a.m. That evening will be a short special service at 5 p.m. The showing of “Chosen,” young adults and youth will not meet until after the first of the year.
