This month's exhibit at Graceful Arts Gallery in Alva showcases the Tour de Quartz, a traveling exhibit of work by Oklahoma high school students who attended the 2023 Summer Arts Institute. During the First Friday Art Walk tonight from 6 to 8 p.m., you can see the work of these talented students while enjoying the provided refreshments.
The paintings and drawings in the exhibit were selected from three of the many assignments completed during the course of the Institute. The assignments include a self-portrait, a landscape still life, and a description painting. For the self-portrait, students...
