All over Europe (and probably in other parts of the world, too) there are people known as “buskers.” According to one dictionary, a busker is “a person who performs music or other entertainment in the street or another public place for monetary donations.”

The concept is certainly not a new one, having been around for centuries. Tourists, especially, enjoy listening and watching local talent perform.

One such busker, who has become quite popular, is an 18-year-old female from Ireland named Allie Sherlock. She started busking in her hometown of Cork when she was a nine-year-old girl.
