New junior high academic team

This year Burlington School started an academic team for its junior high students with six students competing in the inaugural program.
The team competed in a seeding tournament in Medford on Jan. 17, and will be going back Feb. 10 to compete in regionals. The team practices for 30 minutes before lunch during the school's Power Hour. The season and district and state competitions are from January to April, but teams can compete in tournaments or head-to-head with another school anytime.
