The Freedom Board of Education held a special meeting Thursday, Feb. 8, to handle a number of issues, and chose not to have a regular meeting later this month.

Members present were Kyle Rhodes, Phillip Kirkpatrick, Robert Babcock, BJ Baker and Shane Morris. Others present were Superintendent Freida Burgess and Principal/Minutes Clerk Bryant Weber.

The first order of business was to approve the annual financial audit by S&B CPA.

They also approved the junior high (grades 7-9) baseball co-op with Burlington for Spring 2024.
