Alva man charged with assault, kidnapping

An Alva man is facing felony charges after police talked to a woman who said she was in fear for her life.
According to court documents, Waynoka police contacted Alva police on April 20 asking them to check a residence. Waynoka police said they had been contacted by a woman’s family who said the woman called for help and reported being assaulted. The Alva officer was unable to locate anyone at that address.
