The mother skunk took her babies and went elsewhere. The other good news is Cleo is going to let me stay and try for 53 years of married life.

The grass has slowed on the growth with the lack of rain and the heat. There are weedy yards and lots still around, but less all the time. Be patient with your neighbors, or better still see if you can help with the cleaning/mowing.

This week was pretty warm, to say the least, but there has been some wind or it would have been horrible. This coming week it will be in the mid-eighties a couple of days, and then creep back into the mid-nineties. Sad to sa...
