Now let me see, if I run the stop sign, and the guy coming up to the yield sign doesn't yield, will I be at fault for running the stop sign, or will the other driver be at fault for failing to yield? In most of America this wouldn't be a problem, but in Alva it is a real situation at the corner of College and Santa Fe streets. I understand perfectly why the city did this. The stop sign was on the Santa Fe side of the intersection for maybe 75 years, and old stops die hard for us guys.
