Santa never has to pay for parking; it is always on the house!

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving! Some people are still celebrating today with different families and that is cool. I just hope the weather does not mess them up too much.

Jerry and Grace had our family dinner and it was top notch. Cleo's sister Iva and Gary made it for dinner. Their son Kyle has just bought an airplane and was going to fly in but his daughter got sick and he did not make it. Bummer, I wanted to see his plane. Anyhow, now we can officially celebrate the Christmas season.

Black Friday started about the second weekend of November. I do not watch much TV anymore, but one negative for me is one of the channels I watch started on goofy Christmas movies that will last until after Christmas. Let me see …. Man comes to town, meets girl he used to know. They become buddies, then something happens, they break up and then in a miracle they suddenly realize they were meant for each other. Multiply this script with minor plot twists, and you have the 15 movies they will show 50 times by the first of the year. Only the cast has been changed in hopes we won't notice it’s the same movie every time.

The car crushing started at Dad's this week. Other than a little mud it is going fine.

Dortha Dunkin passed away recently. She taught typing, and I was in her class. She was an extremely nice lady with lots of patience trying to get me up to typing 5-10 words a minute. She would be proud of me if she knew I can still type 5-10 words a minute after all these years.

Another friend passed away this week, Reva Maddox. She was another nice lady. Her main claim to fame for me was she helped sponsor a youth expo at the fairgrounds for several years. It was great fun for everyone and young and old learned many things. We set up a booth showing off some of Cleo's special rocks and grandson, Josh, brought one of Dr. Place's snakes wrapped around his arm to show grandma. She was not impressed. Rest in peace, friends.

I feel bad for anyone that loses a family member/friend, but it is especially hard when they are very young. My heart goes out to my longtime friends, Rick and Janet Cunningham, and their families on the loss of their baby grandson, Walker. You are in my prayers. Please God bless all of my friends and families with good health and prosperity.

Bubba said whenever he sees his wife watching “Divorce Court” he immediately goes to washing dishes.

Let's all be safe out there.
