Three Cherokee residents charged with fraudulent use of credit card

 


Three Cherokee residents are facing misdemeanor charges in Alfalfa County after allegedly using a credit card without the cardholder’s consent.

Court records show on Wednesday, Jan. 10, John Patton of Cherokee spoke with Cherokee Police Chief Ryan McNeil regarding the unauthorized use of his credit card as well as the theft of approximately $200 in coins. Patton identified a possible suspect as Lavada Lynn Frye who did odd jobs for him such as cleaning his house. He stated she would have had access to the credit card and to the coins.
