    This year's Burlington track team is almost its biggest since 2018 with 26 total tracksters from junior high and high school.     On March 1, the Burlington junior high and high school choirs traveled to NWOSU in Alva to compete in the district vocal competition. The songs performed were "Homeward Bound" and an a capella song, "Bonse Aba," which were directed by Isi Ofiu. The choir received an excellent rating on their performance.     Seventeen-year-old Ky Smith is currently a senior at Burlington High School. Smith was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Mark and Cara Smith and is the youngest of six. When Smith isn't at school doing his favorite class, which is P.E., he is playing basketball, golfing, hanging out with friends and playing games.     The Burlington robotics team traveled to Denver, Colorado, on Dec. 3, to compete with the best of the best in one of three regional competitions in the nation. This year's challenge was called "Made 2Order," which asked teams to build a robot that would operate with a field similar to an Amazon fulfillment center.     Burlington fifth grade teacher Lindsey Morgan grew up in the small town of Hitchcock, Oklahoma, where she later graduated from Lomega High School and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. The new coach, Margo Hamilton, has the students running every morning at 6:30 a.m. before school. This is her first year coaching cross country, but she has rallied nine runners for the team.
