Two continuing items on the Alva Airport Commission agenda for Monday are building security and waterlines to individual hangars. The commission will meet at 7 p.m. in the terminal conference room. Members will hear a report on city council activity, and the airport manager will present his report. At an emergency meeting Thursday night, Alva City Council's Ordinance Review Committee, consisting of Brian Wallis, Chris Eckhardt and Randy Stelling, developed recommendations for amending the city ordinance regulating the sale and growth of medical marijuana in Alva. (AP) — Kansas State announced a $105 million capital improvement project Saturday that includes a large renovation of Bill Snyder Family Stadium and additional projects to help other athletic programs.
