    Alva High School Baseball, headed by Scott Baugh, will host a summer baseball tournament starting today and ending on Sunday, June 18. Six teams, including the Alva Goldbugs, will compete in this three-day event that will be held on Crenshaw Field starting at 11 a.m. with the final game slated to start at 8 p.m. Other teams competing are Timberlake, Fairview, Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, Pond Creek-Hunter and Red Dirt.     Along with the four seniors named to the All-Star team, the Alva High School baseball team collected a few other accolades for the 2017 seasons. In the 2017 awards selected by the Northwest Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association, Alva picked all but one award from the large schools’ division.
